If you can print other PDFs but not a particular one it is very likely that the PDF size is A4 (the longer, skinnier Asian paper size) instead of the North American letter size ( 8.5" x 11"). It is a common issue and here is the solution (increase the density/dpi): convert -density 120 some.pdf output.jpg You will need to play with the density setting to get the perfect file size and resolution. If you want a smaller file you can always use the "-quality" switch and eg. -quality 25 would be 25%/100 quality........
