Error: database disk image is malformed - yum error solution and fix
I got this when running yum on a Centos 6 machine:
Error: database disk image is malformed
It was easily fixed with the following command:
yum clean all........
yum error "Error: database disk image is malformed" solution
yum -y install mathtools

Solution, disable auth from the ssh client (this is a client side error)........
