How To Remove Ubuntu Netplan and Go Back to /etc/network/interfaces

You can just do this to get rid of netplan so you can keep the normal Debian /etc/network/interfaces

apt remove netplan.io

apt install -y ifupdown

Don't forget to actually populate /etc/network/interfaces now.
