How to ping all of Googlebot's IPs script
First get the json with all the IP ranges
wget https://developers.google.com/static/crawling/ipranges/common-crawlers.json -O google.txt
Use this script to get the results. It may be smart to grep on "time=" to just get the IPs that returned results/were pingable.

That is pinging to the gateway IP on the same switch, the same IP is pingable externally without any problems which makes me think the switch is fine.
