LightDM Mint Ubuntu Debian won't start errors Nvidia Graphics

This error implies that there may be an issue with Xorg or maybe your NVIDIA GPU cannot start or initialize:

Solution

Careful, you could have mdm as the default display manager, which is why this doesn't work.

If you are not sure the easiest way is to do this:

sudo apt remove mdm

After this, lightdm should start.
