How To Startup and Open Remote/Local Folder/Directory in Ubuntu Linux Mint automatically upon login

Just click on the Start Menu and go to "Startup Applications"

Then click on the "Add" Button

Now enter the command we need to open the folder/directory automatically using the filemanager

For remote SSH host (you need pub key auth for it to open without a password)

caja sftp://user@host/thedir

or for local directory:

caja /home/username/Documents

Then click the "Add" button to save it.

After you log back in to your Ubuntu/Mint etc.. a new filesystem manager window should open automatically according to the local dir or remote host that you specified above.
